Pyramids are wonders of the world. Some are supposed to weigh up to 50 tonne’s ! and 450 feet tall ! with approximately 2 million blocks of stone in each one. Each block weighed around 2.5 tonne and were transported by wooden sledges. All the rock-hard blocks had a tough limestone finish. It has been estimated to have taken 10 years just to build the ramp to get the rocks up the 52 degree angle and another 20 years to build them ! The pyramids were built by hard-working laborers.
